Aaquib Firdous
Aaquib Firdous is a Research Associate at the Energy Department, Centre for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP).
He has recently submitted his PhD thesis in Renewable Energy Engineering at Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur. His research broadly focuses on energy system operations, renewable energy integration, and power system flexibility, with applications to low-carbon transitions. A key component of his work examines grid-integrated green hydrogen systems, including dynamic electrolyser operations, sector coupling, and multi-energy system optimization for industrial decarbonisation. Aaquib has contributed to interdisciplinary research spanning integrated energy systems, electric vehicles, demand response, and energy management systems, with publications in reputed international journals and conferences. He is also a Certified Master Trainer, certified by the Power Sector Skill Council in Renewable Energy and Green Hydrogen. He is actively engaged in capacity-building initiatives for the industry and policymakers.
