Rakesh Mohan delivered the Shashwat Panda Memorial Lecture at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay on May 7. In his lecture, titled “Escaping the Low Middle-Income Trap: The Imperatives of State Strengthening,” he emphasised the importance of enhancing the state’s capacity to provide law and order, as well as essential services such as education and healthcare, which are vital for economic growth.

On May 1, Shivshankar Menon was speaker at the Special Session of the Himalayan Future Forum (HFF) 2024, an initiative of the Nepal Economic Forum. His speech highlighted the importance and current scenario of geopolitics in the Himalayas.
