Divya Jain
Divya Jain has joined as Research Associate under Dr. Rahul Tongia. She is a doctoral scholar at TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi, and is in the advanced stage of her PhD research. Her PhD thesis revolves around the interlinkage between electricity demand and spatial climate variability in Indian context. She has two publications in international academic journals and has presented her work at prestigious national and international conferences. Primarily, she has an extensive background in quantitative research and expertise in advanced econometrics and non-parametric analysis. Her core areas of research interest include energy policy, state-level demand-side management initiatives, climate science and policies, climate risk assessment, and various other climate change aspects. Prior to her PhD, she pursued M.Sc. Environmental Economics from Madras School of Economics, Chennai, and Economics Honours from University of Delhi.
