Kartik Nair is a sustainability and policy professional focused on electric mobility, battery recycling and the circular economy. Earlier, he was at ICRIER, where he worked on strengthening India’s EV battery supply chain through mapping recycling/refining capacity, designing policy options (including EPR enhancements, recycled-content targets and incentives). Previously, he was a Fellow with the Transport Department, Government of NCT of Delhi, supporting implementation of the Delhi EV Policy 2020, including expansion of charging infrastructure and battery swapping.

He holds an M.Tech in Environmental Engineering from Delhi Technological University and a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Government Engineering College, Thrissur.
