Malvika has worked with the Economic & Political Weekly as an editorial assistant with the print team where her responsibilities included editing and commissioning of articles and moderating webinars. Earlier she has worked with the Right to Education Forum and National Coalition for Education, Delhi as media and documentation associate. She also had a short stint as a corporate social responsibility fellow with TISS and Tata Motors.

She also identifies herself as a feminist with a commitment towards women-centric issues and social justice. She has completed her Bachelor’s degree in history from LSR and an Master’s in Social Work from TISS Mumbai.
