Sabine Karer
Research Assistant
Sabine Uma Karer is a graduate in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh (BA Hons, 2024) with a strong focus on undergraduate research and policy analysis. Her dissertation examined the weaponisation of religion through mass psychology in the Middle East region, with case studies on Iran, Yemen, and Saudi Arabia. She gained research experience at the Centre for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP), working on China in South Asia, critical minerals and India’s foreign policy, and climate finance, alongside contributing to policy briefs and academic projects.
