Syamantak is a Research Analyst in the Growth, Finance, Health & Human Development vertical, where he is currently working on issues of trade focusing on Asian economies. His research interests spans issues of development, international trade and logistics, macroeconomics and growth.

Syamantak holds a BSc (Honours) in Economics from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata and a MSc in Economics with a specialisation in Development Studies from Symbiosis School of Economics, Pune.

His Master’s thesis was on the effect of institutions on GVC participation of countries.
