Building Subnational Action for Sustainable Critical Mineral Value Chains

Swaniti Initiative, the Centre for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP), and Policy & Development Advisory Group (PDAG) are pleased to invite you to the upcoming conference on “Building Subnational Action for Sustainable Critical Mineral Value Chains”.
As India advances the implementation of the National Critical Minerals Mission (NCMM), state governments will play a pivotal role in translating national priorities into investments, infrastructure, industrial capabilities, and resilient domestic value chains.
The event aims to address a central question: How can Indian states strengthen their preparedness to attract and sustain investments across critical mineral value chains while also aligning with the goals of the NCMM?
Union Minister of Coal and Mines, Shri G. Kishan Reddy will be the Chief Guest at the event. The conference will feature panel discussions with senior representatives from the Government of India, state governments, NITI Aayog, public sector enterprises, industry, and multilateral institutions to deliberate on state readiness, policy frameworks, investment facilitation, infrastructure, and pathways for sustainable critical mineral value chains. A detailed programme agenda will be shared upon registration.
