Anshika Mathur
Anshika Mathur is Associate Fellow, CSEP.
She is completing her PhD in Economics at the Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Delhi and earned her master’s in economics from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Delhi. Her research lies in applied microeconomics, with a focus on public policy, gender, health, and labour markets in India. Her work uses large administrative and survey datasets and employs quasi-experimental and spatial methods to draw causal inference. Her dissertation examines how social norms, state programs, and institutional capacity interact to shape human capital formation in traditional settings. Her research has been presented at several international conferences and published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Human Capital.
