Nayan Mane

Research Analyst

    Nayan Mane is a recent Master of Public Policy graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, with a strong focus on energy systems, energy transition, and sustainability. His academic and professional experience centres on quantitative policy analysis and interdisciplinary research. During his programme, Nayan worked as a Climate Corps Fellow with the Environmental Defense Fund, where he supported a leading financial institution in developing a climate risk assessment tool using scenario analysis and econometric modelling. He holds a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, Karnataka, after which he gained over two years of industry experience in process safety and risk consulting across international oil and gas projects. His thesis examines the co-location of green hydrogen production and utilisation using geospatial, techno-economic, and optimisation modelling to evaluate regional cost efficiencies and system design. Nayan brings a structured, analytical, and interdisciplinary approach to complex problems and looks forward to applying his skills in a dynamic professional environment.
