Valbha has joined Growth, Finance and Development vertical as Research Associate. She is a PhD Candidate at Jawaharlal Nehru University with her research focusing on affirmative action policies for political representation of women in India. She has done her MPhil from JNU, master’s from Delhi School of Economics and bachelors from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.

Prior to CSEP, she had a stint as Consultant at NCAER and has been associated with University of Delhi for 6 years, working as Assistant Professor. Her research interests include development economics, public policy and women empowerment.
