Rachna Pathak earned her B.Tech. degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. She has been working on Artificial Intelligence applications since 2018, beginning with research and development work at CSIR-Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute, where she contributed to projects on heritage preservation and biometric authentication systems.

Her experience spans multiple data modalities, including computer vision, natural language, and time-series analytics. She later applied these skills to analyse consumer behaviour and electricity consumption patterns in Indian cities using smart meter data.

Her research interests lie at the intersection of AI and energy systems, with a focus on renewable energy integration, electricity demand analysis, and efficient energy resource management. She is interested in undertaking data-driven research to support evidence-based policymaking in the Indian energy sector.
