Vijayeswari Kaul holds an M.Sc. in Economics with a specialisation in Environment and Resource Economics from the TERI School of Advanced Studies, following a B.A. (Hons) in Economics from Hansraj College, University of Delhi.

Her professional background includes research internships across premier Indian think tanks and policy institutions, including NITI Aayog, ICRIER, RIS, and the Centre for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP). In these positions, she contributed to policy research covering international trade dynamics, environmental sustainability, food security, and digital ecosystems. Her broader research interests lie at the intersection of development economics, climate change, sustainability, geo-economics, AI and the digital economy, public health, and gender equity.

Beyond her academic work, she enjoys learning Korean and exploring a diverse range of music.
