Aruna Bose is Director – Communications at CSEP and leads the Communications team. Aruna has 20+ years of experience at the intersection of journalism, public policy, and strategic communication. Before joining CSEP, Aruna was the Communications Manager at Pratham Education Foundation. With a foundation in journalism, her earlier career includes senior editorial roles at NDTV 24×7, Times of India, and Connected to India (Singapore). She has built and led high-performing teams, developed cross-platform content strategies, and handled research dissemination and press outreach as well as high-profile events and multi-stakeholder engagement. She has also led global editorial operations at a digital media start-up, bringing together content, brand, and commercial strategy.

Aruna has done a Masters in Film and Television Production from Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom and holds an undergraduate honours degree in History from Lady Shri Ram College for Women.
