Pallavi Baraya is a policy and research professional specialising in security and international development. She has worked across government, international organisations, and civil society in South Asia and Geneva’s multilateral system. Her work centers on evidence-based research and accountable governance.

Pallavi began her career in an Indian Member of Parliament’s office, researching governance and public programmes. She later worked with a firm in the education and livelihoods sectors, building strategic collaborations and delivering evidence-based reports.

Her work in Africa includes developing a toolkit on preventing online violent extremism in Mali and strengthening community-level resilience through local engagement. She has contributed to policy and humanitarian research with ICRC, UN SDG Lab, and Child Rights Connect on sector-specific development challenges.

Pallavi is skilled in qualitative research and works in English, Hindi and French. She holds a Master’s degree from the Geneva Graduate Institute and is committed to advancing community-driven governance.
