K Prahalad
Prahalad is a Research Analyst at CSEP. He holds a postgraduate diploma from the Young India Fellowship at Ashoka University and a bachelor’s degree in History from Madras Christian College, Chennai. Prior to joining CSEP, he worked as a Research Assistant to Member of Parliament P. Chidambaram and was involved in public policy research and campaign-related projects with former Member of Parliament Ritesh Pandey. At CSEP, Prahalad initially worked with Mr. Vikram Singh Mehta on mapping India’s oil and gas sector, tracing its evolution and situating it within the broader energy landscape. He is currently part of the Non-Fuel Minerals and Mining team, contributing to the development of a Responsible Mining and Processing Framework for India. His research interests lie at the intersection of energy, conflict, geopolitics, and governance.
