Nadine Monteiro
Research Analyst
Nadine Monteiro is a Research Analyst in the Health and Human Development vertical at the Centre for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP). She holds a degree in Governance, Economics, and Development (BSc, Hons) from Leiden University College The Hague. Joining CSEP in 2024, her work has focused on the intersection of health and foreign policy, with particular attention to regional and global frameworks of health cooperation in South and Southeast Asia, as well as the social and political determinants of investing in health.
Prior to her current role, Nadine interned with CSEP’s Foreign Policy and Security Studies team, where she contributed to research on India-Africa strategic partnerships in critical minerals.
Her research interests lie in social policy with an emphasis on advancing inclusivity and equity in health systems.
